Write Your Truth & It Shall Come To Pass
If I told you the cows speak to me, that I can hear them tell me to write my truth and that if I provide complete honesty it shall come to pass.
Would you ask me to see a doctor and have my mental/emotional state checked out or would you believe that a voice only I can hear whispers in my ear.
If I told you the voice assured me that if I said I want to live my life with the person that makes my heart pound and soothes my soul in a house that we formed from our love would it make you scrunch up your face.
Would you tell me it is campy, cheesy and ridiculous or would you nod your head and say go on.
What if I told you she and I have fought as hard as we have loved and that there were moments we were determined to bend the world to our will and make it ours and moments where we believed it to be impossible.
Could you conceive of such a thing, believe that a love forged in fire and tested by multiple challenges could overcome those hurdles?
Those bovine prophets insist that even when it feels like we stopped holding each others hands we never stopped holding the others heart.
They say confusion may have reigned supreme but that because of who we are and what we bring to each other we have that special chemical connection that allows us to rise above it all.
Or would you tell me it sounds like a crock of shit.
Would you ask me to stop shoveling it higher and higher or tell me that deeper and deeper is the way to go.
Way to go because the only way to get through the shit is to walk through it, to pass through the fire one must dance in the flames.
The Stars Look Very Different Today
And if I quoted a man who has left this earth to go wherever it is we head off to once we are done on this plane, would you say that was sensible or senseless.
What if I told you I could see us in a home we never expected to share, living a life together we never expected to have, with hearts overflowing with joy.
Maybe you’d nod and smile or shake your head because you can’t accept words from a cow and won’t allow for the possibility that maybe there is something more out there.
And the man who once offered to be the knight protector, who said he’d walk into Hell and fight Satan and his hordes would smile back at you.
Smile regardless of whether you nodded in agreement or said you thought he was a fool because you can’t hear the song he sings.
Because you do what is required and what is necessary regardless of whether you receive approval from others.
And that is how you move the needle and make an impact upon the world and the people around you even when you face opposition.
